Summer Training Starts Soon!
Summer Training Starts Soon!
June 9th - August 21st
Our Summer Forged program begins June 9th 2025 and ends August 21st 2025.
High School Program:
For High School Athletes, sessions will be held three days a week on Mondays, Thursdays, and Sundays. Attendance to all sessions is not mandatory, but strongly recommended to maximize results. Our program is not intended to replace summer running with your fellow high school team, it is meant to supplement it. This means on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays athletes should still get together with their respective teams for easy base miles.
Middle School Program:
For Middle School Athletes, sessions will be held twice a week on Mondays, and Thursdays. Select middle school athletes may be invited to join the High School Program for part of the Sunday Long Run. This will be done at the coaches discretion and discussed with the athlete / parents in advance. Over the course of our program we will encourage our middle school athletes to work up to consistently running 4 - 5 days a week.
Fees:
Fees are $220 (Unless you were a part of our inaugural 2024 cohort). Fees are due at the first session. $40 discount for additional siblings. Cash is preferred and will land you a $20 discount. Payment can be split if needed. After week one, there are no refunds barring extenuating circumstances.
Things To Note:
Sessions may be cancelled due to extreme weather / coach scheduling conflicts. We will do our best to communicate cancellations in advance, as well as offer make up sessions if it is reasonable to do so. Our program is open to ALL middle school / high school athletes in the area and surrounding areas. However, to ensure safety, capacity is limited to 20 athletes per program. Slots will be filled on a first come, first served basis with previous athletes receiving priority. Transportation is not provided.
Registration will officially open for both programs May 1st.
What To Bring:
Please invest in a new pair of running shoes for your athlete to kick off summer training. Overused footwear leads to preventable injuries in distance running. You can find great deals by visiting an outlet store in the area, or buying an older model of a specific training shoe online.
Please bring a water bottle and some form of electrolytes to each session.
Summers in the Midwest tend to be hot and humid so dress accordingly!
